What is it that makes a game “fun”?
How can a museum game strike the right balance between purpose and entertainment? Is creating good games with purpose an art, or a science?
This talk will introduce you to the principles and methods behind creating great museum games. It will include lots of examples of inspirational games (including a live multiplayer game you can all join!) as well as tips and tools from personal experience. It will aim to convince you that this is about process, not genius, and that games are something your institution could and should do.
